Re: Event timing
It's already 7 AM for me, and I'm prone to waking up late, . So... no more earlier!

Re: Event timing
Yes, lots have protested about the time and a little while ago we did a survey thing saying when we would be around. the current time fit the most people by far. So unfortunately for us non usa players will have to stay up till midnight :l to web start the event. D:

Re: Event timing
yes, even though i havent looked over that survey, i still get the feeling the majority of the guild is USA (or any western hemisphere country) based. I believe that because of A- that game i have and B- i see more people on during times that lean more to USA activity rather than European or Asian activity.
The events arent closed just to Val and Gibb, you know! Nobody is stopping a European person from attempting to organize a more Europe-friendly event! I say go for it! Nobody should be left out.

Re: Event timing
Please do! I would be very happy if someone organizes a BN event. Though keep in mind that finding an opponent at a specific time is not dependable and if we were to do in house (versus our alt guild), we would need 8 willing players!
And Mushy's right. However, we do hope that anyone planning on organizing an event can give us a heads up at least so that we can be fully prepared and give our full support =)

Re: Event timing
We really can't push it earlier - we've already prevented anyone who has a nine-to-five job in the western half of the States from coming(4 PST, 5 MST). Any earlier and it would start biting into school hours, which may be much more significant because I believe we have many more minors in Aurora than graduates.Cyber-Strike-Blast wrote:actually i am in the usa, specifically maryland so the events are at 7 pm for me and i gotta log off aroung there becuase i have to eat dinner or m mom is yelling at me to turn it off
Re: Event timing
While the "Getting early for western US" point is still valid (early afternoon is prime sport/music/other extracurricular timing), most folks don't work on Saturdays.
