A question
I have a question. Well... Two questions.
1.) is this the right place to put this?
And
2.) I've recently started playing T1 lockdown as a gunner. I was wondering what the best guns for it were.

Re: A question
1.) Well, it's in 'General Discussions.' I think you're okay posting this here.
2.) In terms of most effective guns in T1 Lockdown, I hear that the Zapper and Frost Guns are a preferred choice if you're going full gunner. Maybe add in a Super Stun Gun into the mix.

Re: A question
I use a zapper myself, which seems to be pretty common due to the high asi one that you get from the missions. The super stun gun seems pretty popular too (stun is quite helpful), although I haven't tried it myself. And I know some people praise the pummel gun.
Guns tend not to do much damage in t1, so going pure gunner might be difficult. I play gunner in pve but switch to a mixed layout favoring swords and bombs in t1. The nice thing about t1 is that you don't need to focus on only one weapon type. Only a few pieces of armor give offensive bonuses, and you don't need to try to carry different damage types, making it easier to carry a mixed set.

Re: A question
Well yes... but doing 2 bars with a sword and 1/2 a bar with a gun... Maybe it's that bad in t2/t3 too!

Re: A question
In T3 the statuses more than make up for guns mediocre damage. Dunno about T2 or T1
My recommendation, Det, is to spectate a few games and focus on gunners and observe guns that are popular and ones that you think you'd like. Thats just me.

Re: A question
Statuses in T1? Ha, good luck. They're really next to nonexistent with guns from what I've seen. I think you can only be frozen/stunned/shocked from the gun charges, and those only last 2 seconds from what I recall (unless you have negative resist).
As for T2, yeah, they're a pain.

Re: A question
Agreed. T1 guns seem to inflict status much more rarely. With the alchers, it seems every other shot will inflict. With the zapper, it feels more like 1 in 10. No hard data to back that up of course! Just what I've noticed.
And I haven't really seen any pure gunners in t1. A few pure bombers, and a few pure swordies, but pure gunners... just haven't seen it that much. I have seen pure gunners in t2/t3 though.

Re: A question
Yea, pretty much, I don't advise pure gunning in T1, and like snow said, lol, statuses are very uncommon in T1 guns, and then the status lasts.. what.. like 3-4 seconds? (with no res)
I recommend at least one sword/bomb det

Re: A question
I actually go full gunner. I enjoy it so, even though I get less then 700 damage each round, I'll keep going full gunner. Thanks for your feedback.
