Event Suggestions!

I don't think chess would be a good idea because it would take such a long time. And then only two people would be playing and the rest of us would just be puppets for a while, which I would find boring since a chess game would last for at least an hour.

I propose: Dodgebot

The idea will be somewhat reminiscent of the Saboteur-style Arcade runs, but on a smaller scale. Now that we have a spiffy new Training Hall, let's have some extra fun with it!

Contestants will equip Proto gear with no weapons, and proceed into the Tier 3 Shufflebot Dodgebot ring. The objective is simple: bump attacking bots into your opponents to kill them before they kill you! This can be done 1v1, free-for-all, or possibly teams.

Added bonus of improving your shield techniques. :B

Just thinking of a few days ago when some of us went to see the Exult GH.
I think I'm not exaggerating when I say it's really well designed. So maybe we could do something they did: make an event or just an extra time where we could use all the great design/interior decorator skills and give our GH a bit of a makeover.
I'm thinking about all the empty rooms and wonder what to do so our hall looks not just stunning in some parts - which it does.
Eg like make an exhibition hall .... a coffee shop .... update - redesign the bar
And I'm sure there are many more ideas out there.

And maybe we still find some more players to rent a room

Musical chairs.

Everyone follows the singer around guild hall while he is singing ( at least 1 verse ) and when he stops, people must get the seats in Musical Chair room ( special one where seat count could be changed every "round". The one person who failed to find seat, must change the singer and go on until two finalists remain. Then, everyone who was eliminated must lead those two while singing prechosen song. And thus, when all the voices stop. They must rush in to take the final seat and be victorious, thus receiving a prize!

Obviously, Val starts competition by singing first song.

We split into teams of two, going for each of the bosses in order. Snarby, JK, The Twins, and FSC.
Last one standing wins, or if two pairs make it through FSC, the first one to make it out wins first prize.

How much of our gear is going to be proto? This gets pretty unreasonable (and lengthy) when you move into T2 (and 3...)

Speed Run Plus Trivia!

Inspired by trying to talk to people while not getting killed by kats in candlestick...

Attempt a speed run of the royal jelly boss in teams. However while your trying to dodge jelly attacks the event host will asking sk related trivia questions in chat! For each question your team gets right, you get a "time bonus". At the end, you take the time taken to kill the royal jelly minus all "time bonuses" to get the winner. Also maybe with another small prize for most trivia questions answered...

I think that what Goodbert suggested was a good idea, it sounds pretty fun and all

This is a rather developed idea I had.. potentially in hopes of hosting it at some point.. you know, if its passed.

LD Proto/T3 1v1 Tournament
We will need at least 12 people (you must have 6 per GvG team, right? This i'll need to know), including myself and a co-host. The co-host and 5 of the people will join Heads or Tails, the other 5 and myself remaining in Aurora. Then, there are two parts to the event:

Proto 1v1
Players will equip proto gear, no trinkets, no extra items. Limit of 2 weapons, so you must choose between the 3 proto weps. We will then enter a GvG match, my co-host issuing the directions i say. Once in the match, nobody will attempt to cap or fight, or they will be disqualified. People will be randomly assigned opponents and will 1v1 each other in proto while I spectate and record the results. People will get 1 point if they win, 0 if the loose. This will continue until someone reaches 7 points. The top 3 will receive exclusive Guild Title badges, similar to the Fantastic 4 event.

T3 1v1
Players will equip their LD loadout of their choice, trinkets allowed. They will not be allowed to change loadouts later. After the match starts, I will, as above, assign random opponents and they will 1v1 each other under my supervision. Again, no capping or rouge fighting. This will continue until someone reaches 12 points. The top 3 people will receive exclusive Guild Titles.

Prizes are limited to unique Guild Titles unless someone decides to pitch in for money/item prizes, as I can't afford them myself. This is solely up to the people and is obviously not required.
