Title says all~ I was thinking forums needed a sort of topic where people can just give a heads up to when they are leaving/going away for a while to when they are returning! Here, you can post when you will be inactive, return, or even give a warm "Welcome back!" All Aurora Forum rules apply~ Do NOT try to flame/insult someone within posts
(Note: Not sure if Aurora forums already has one, but I'll post one anyway)

I guess I'll start then~ It has been quite obvious, but I have been notably very inactive within the SK community lately~ It's mainly due to the fact that school and more life events are making me more busy xD Not sure when I'll "try" to become active again, buttt I will pop on every now and then to do missions/runs with friends~ c: If you want to contact me on skype (which I'm usually either invisible or there), just PM me or give me a heads up c:

I really like this idea Wiz and I find it hilarious that a inactive kinda thread is in introductions. XD

I guess I should say I'm inactive myself atm. The thing is, I don't really have an excuse... I just started playing a new game, so I wasn't on SK much because of that, and now I just can't go on SK for even 30 minutes now... (I'm not even playing that new game either. XD) Well... Hopefully I can get playing again~

Well, the names of the games I played were cool - SoulSilver.. Platinum.. etc, then Black and White. That was... decent. Then Black2 and White2? Then I quit. Now its just 2 letters :L
Did they use all the good names in existence?

They're called X and Y because they're based off chromosomes. Something you probably know about. And DNA. You know, choosing if you want to be a boy or a girl. Something kind of original and unique. It does sooo much based off that concept and does things the previous versions could only dream of.

And before you say something like "wow nobody is gonna like this game" or "it's dumb now", there's been almost over 13 mill people pre-ordered. That's quite a feat for the games. Idk, it all just sounds like you don't like change.

Heck even Canada couldn't wait, broke the rules for the game because it was suppose to be a worldwide release and are already selling the games before the 12th. lol

You do realise it started with the colours Yellow, Red and Blue/Green right? And like Blazz said, they are to do with DNA.

I also lost interest after SoulSilver (and HeartGold) as I view them as the last installments that were actually good.... the names of the pokemon afterwards were pretty... lame. Vanilish? Sandile? I was cracking up at that stuff... Though I will give B and W credit for an excellent storyline and good legendaries.

so yeah, ive returned a slow typer and after about a month, im back, (not that im exactly known but still )

Maybe it’s not like this for you all, but the first thing we think of when we hear X and Y are genders, or at least the chromosomes responsible for them. And when we pitched this question, that’s how we worded it, asking if that’s where the inspiration for X and Y came from...we were totally wrong.

Mr. Masuda set us straight, “So the X and Y actually come from the two axes, the X and the Y axes," Masuda said. "These are used as kind of a way to express different ways of thinking--different opinions--and it’s actually tied into the themes of the games, which is expressed through certain differences in the story between the two versions. So there will be slight differences to the story in X and Y. It also ties into the message we want to convey with these games: Even though X and Y are representing these two different ways of thought, there’s a point where they overlap. So we really want to convey the message of finding these points that we as humans share in common, rather than focusing on the differences we have.”

This also explains why the newest special season in the cartoon is called Origin.
