Back-up Event Manager?

Back-up Event Manager?
I've always been a major fan of Aurora's weekly events, and knowing that Val has a life, sometimes she doesn't end up planning an event, which is understandable. I was wondering, why not have a back-up event planner if Val gets busy?
____________
Just a suggestion as a way so that we always have an event to look forward too. >.>

We've been trying to sort that out, but the event deal was something that Val kinda started up on her own, since she's really the only person who can do it effectively. I'm in no way able to lead such an event, and Read is the only other who's ever done it.

Interesting idea. Now if we could get a capable officer/GM/(possibly vet?) to do it =)

Awww..I'm really happy that you enjoy the events Mushy. It's taken some time to build them up to the way they are now today but you guys make it all worth it!
Yes, the events are purely a Val thing. They are something that I like to do for fun but since they require a considerable amount of effort, I've never really gotten the courage to impose them on the other officers (even though I have bought them some hassles XD). Regardless, they have been absolutely incredible in letting me get my own way yet at the same time filling in all the gaps, keeping in me in check, and cleaning up after my messes if needed. And I have no doubt that they will be able to fill in for me and do an awesome job.
Although I do wish that you had come to me to first in regards to this issue since it is a backup event manager for me we are talking about, I totally understand your concern and where you are coming from. That being said, it is perfectly easy for me to set up an event and ask someone to proctor it in the future. It'll take like 5 min.
But I really do value your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the guild. A suggestion would be that you organize your own events. Due to the fact that our players hail from all corners of the world, many guildies have been unable to participate at Saturday 11 PM. I'm sure they would be up for an event organized at a different time =D

When you create the topic, the option is below the main textbox. You may be able to edit the first post and find it there as well.MushyMushy wrote:Valene wrote:
