Similar to that T2 LD tourney, there's also a BN tourney happening soon (probably the same guild's hosting it)

Bomber Games

So if anyone's interested in forming a team I'm all for it Smile

I actually met the host of the event today. Turns out it isn't the same guild that is hosting the LD event.

Something that is intresting though is that the host was actually in Aurora, said that she wanted Aurora to join because she knew it was awesome. I'll contact her if people are actually wanting to apply. Razz

I'd love to play if we can get a team.

Also lol at the guy on the SK forums calling the OP out for mentioning stickies and then explaining something different, saying that that something = stickies. That something is just an effect of the stickying, not stickying itself.

A quick note: the host, Raynstorm, was previously(only briefly, I think) in Aurora. Don't remember what he did.

I no longer have the old reliable wired Ethernet connection I had at the school dorms, but this sounds fun. Count me in!

We would probably want some extra reserve members for time or business constraints.

hmmm this does sound great but i thought of 3 problems which will probably ruin it especially as there will be such a huge prize fund.

1) Servers. Which server you are on could be the difference between a win or a loos depending on whether you're on usa or eu. Cue argueing.

2) stickies. I know theres a rule against it but people willl still try to win the prize fund unfairly and it will get messy. Especially as some "pro" BN guild are amazingly big headed and dont care about pleasing other or having fun

2) Time zones. That old enemy D:<

Isn't EST 5 hours behind us (UK) Anders? Meaning it's only 7pm. Is that time really that bad?

Umm, last time I checked. (Like 15 hours ago) There was only 3 guilds participating and I know one of them weren't Machinists. (Whether or not they are now...)

So we now have 5 people who want to join, so I was just wondering how we are going to pay the 30k and if I should or should not contact the host and say that Aurora wants to join.

I talked to Rayn about it and said I'd just hand over the 30k directly. I can collect from whoever actually shows up and makes it into the matches. That was a good point earlier about having some extra people on hand to play in case of connection troubles, etc.

Also, I have a working headset again, so if any of you want to join me on the mumble server feel free to do so Smile

Before this turns into a full blown variety show, I'd only mentioned the mumble for the purpose of possible chat during our BN matches. But hey, if Red and I can find some matching outfits, who knows? Razz

Nothing like a good half-time show to impel the masses don't ya think? :3

I take it these matching outfit you are planning to wear are actually pretty pink dressses?
Aw man, this will certainly be too much for the ladies if it's going that route Razz

...I'm having way too much fun derailing this thread.

Anyways three more days until the big game! :V
