2/9/13 - Special Valentine's Event: Hug-a-Thon & Photo Contest

Hello! It's February and love is floating in the air! With Valentine's Day around the corner, those of us with a significant other in our lives should remember to get a head-start on that order of fattening chocolates and flowers. But it's an even better time for you singles out there. What a better time to confess to that special gal or guy you've secretly liked for a while or to even open yourself up to love? I'm a huge believer in that idea that we ALL have that special someone we are destined for, so if she or he isn't by your side yet, then it simply means that the time isn't right YET!

But enough of my love dissertation XD....

FIRST on the list: EVENT TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO SATURDAYS 6 PM CST / 12 AM GMT!!! According to the Googledoc, this was the overwhelming first choice. Our apologies to those who are not able to make it to that time =(

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, we've decided bring back a popular past guild event: Hug-a-thon! For those of you unfamiliar with this, we basically dress up in the guild costume (Jelly mail Emberbreak Helm), appear next to a designated person, and proceed to spam hugs =D





So if you have that special someone (doesn't have to be a girlfriend or boyfriend) or someone you want to appreciate, make sure he or she is on at that time and in haven and we'll be taking requests to hand out tons of love this Saturday! Directions will be given out at the GH right before the event, so I'll see you there this Saturday at 6 PM CST!

SECOND on the list:

Ever seen someone around haven that just had the PERFECT outfit to match yours? Or have you ever had this brilliant idea with a friend to make matching outfits? Well now's a chance to show your creativity!

Details:
You will have until 2/20/2013 to submit photos showing you and a boyfriend/girlfriend/friend/acquaintance/stranger/enemy in either matching outfits or better yet, couple's outfits. That's it for the rules! You can do anything you want (even photoshop - though you can only photoshop the background, not the characters).

What we will be looking for is simply something that elicits a "Awww...that's adorable!" or "Omg that matches perfectly" or "You two look so cute".

Please submit your picture here, along with the names of you and your other half as well as a brief caption. The Aurora staff will be judging on these submissions.

So drag a friend and bring your creativity! We're literally on the edge of our seats waiting for our minds to be blown away by these pictures =D

Prizes: 2 Love Puppy Disguises (one for you and one for your other half) and 10 Enamorocks each!
