1/25 No Guild Event & Event Times Poll

First order of business: NO SET EVENT this Saturday! We still hope everyone log on if you can and maybe we can do some impromptu events!

But before you log off....

Many of you know that our event time is at Saturdays 9 PM CST, but that also means it is 3 AM GMT, which means that many of our European players cannot attend. It has certainly been hard trying to find an event time suitable for everyone esp since we have people from all over the world.

We now have a solid number of European players and as we would love for all our guild members to be able to participate, we have decided to do a poll for the times.

US players, we also need your input as a possible change of time would be around US afternoon time. This actually might be better for some of us than at night =)

So please please EVERYONE vote for all the times you are available And realize that we might be able to hold 2 event times. And even if we change the times, that still won't prevent us from having some fun on a Saturday night

Actually, I got a better idea.
Create a google doc and allow people to fill questionaire and to check the hours they are most comfortable at.
Then you can see the spread of available hours and thus decide on it more accurately

There's a high chance of me sleeping in or doing chores in the morning, I'd say anything after noon should work out. x3

Any thoughts to an alternating event time? Say one weekend it is held at it's current time and the next weekend it's held at the popular time slot for the European players?

Sounds like a pretty fair simple schedule, I wouldn't mind trying something like that out. o:

Yeah that could work Gibb. I said in my original post that if the need arises, we could even totally do 2 events a day -one for Us players and one for Euro players.

however it would be optimal if we can get everyone on at the same time (as hard as that may be) because the more the merrier. The purpose of the guild events is to provide a time for everyone in the guild to be on at same time and do something fun while getting to know each other better. I would hope that would be regardless of whether they are us or euro.

And lastly, we might not have enough euro players to fully organize an event since their own time zones vary.

So for now, lets see if we can get a time that works for most people before looking at that?

Can I suggest we work out how many euro players we have? If you are a euro player and you would rather have a guild event at 8 pm gmt then say so! suggest what time you would want it if 8 doesn't fit well. 8 would be perfect for me! Also that would be around 2 in the afternoon for you usa players so you could join if you don't have work/school/social life on saturday
